Keynote lecture by dr. Irene van Renswoude

We are very pleased to introduce to you the keynote speaker of our conference: dr. Irene van Renswoude. Irene works both at the department of History of Knowledge (Huygens ING (KNAW)) and at Utrecht University. Her keynote lecture will be entitled: Forbidden books. Readers’ responses in manuscripts and early printed books, 650-1600. A brief abstract of her lecture can be read here. Irene’s keynote lecture will conclude our conference.

2nd Call for Papers: early medieval history / early printed books

There are still a few places left for speakers at the 2nd Graduate Conference. We especially welcome papers in the field of early medieval history and manuscript studies (+/-650-1100), as well as of studies of early printed books (+/-1450-1600).

Abstracts can be sent to lv271@exeter.ac.uk. Closing date for applications: 1 November 2017.
